Speaker: Khaleela Umheni MSN, RN, CNOR, NE-BC
Description: Following this webinar, LNCs will be able to identify common risk factors for operating room fires, identify safety gaps, and discuss practices to prevent and respond to OR fires. The fire triangle will be explored, along with elevated risk scenarios. Best practices will also be analyzed, including documentation red flags. Case studies will discuss the overall role of a Legal Nurse Consultant as an expert and/or during OR fire litigation.
