Deviation or Hallucination: the Effect of Hindsight Bias in Legal Nurse Consulting

Description: Following this webinar, LNCs will implement chronological review methodologies that minimize the need for outcome knowledge during initial analysis phases. They will utilize structured bias-reduction techniques such as decision-point analysis, alternative scenario consideration, and systematic documentation of clinical uncertainty that existed at the time of care. LNCs will approach case reviews with enhanced awareness of hindsight bias and employ specific strategies to maintain objectivity, resulting in more credible expert opinions and fairer assessments of healthcare provider decision-making.
