Description: By attending this webinar, Legal Nurse Consultants (LNCs) will gain additional, up-to-date knowledge needed to understand envenomation injuries caused by snakes, spiders, and other venomous creatures. This presentation will help LNCs increase their knowledge about the complexities (symptomatology, pathophysiology, treatment) of envenomation injuries and how to evaluate medical records from medicolegal cases/claims involving these injuries. After this presentation, LNCs will also acquire a deeper understanding of emergency medicine, medical toxicology, and addiction medicine specialty providers working in both clinical and medicolegal consulting, and how those disciplines can assist LNCs and attorneys with envenomation cases.
